Sound of frequency below 20 Hz is called

 [A]. audio sounds [B]. infrasonic [C]. ultrasonic [D]. supersonics

Explanation:

No answer description available for this question.

Amaresh Singh said: (Aug 14, 2011) Because less than or equal to 20 Hz man can not hear the sound. Man can hear between 20 Hz and 20000 Hz.

Nishtha Sharma said: (Aug 31, 2011) Infrasonic : less than 20Hz (can not be heard by humans) Ultrasonic : between 20Hz and 20kHz (can be heard by humans) Supersonic : more than 20kHz (can not be heard by humans)

Uday said: (Nov 15, 2011) Good nithish.

Biplab said: (Sep 1, 2012) Thanks nishtha.

Aniket said: (Feb 20, 2013) Is ultrasonic and audio frequency same terms?

Madhav said: (Jun 30, 2013) Infrasonic. The relevance of this particular frequency is that it is the lower limit of hearing the normal people.

Cm Prasad said: (Nov 5, 2013) @Nishtha you are wrong. Infrasonic - frequency less than 20 hz (can not be hear). Visible light - frequency 20 hz to 20, 000 hz (can be hear). Ultrasonic - more than 20, 000 (can not be hear). NOTE - all three forms relate with frequency but supersonic not. Supersonic relates with velocity. Hence supersonic - the sound wave having speed more than 332 meter/second (velocity of sound in air). Supersonic jet planes named on property because they have speed more than 332 m/s.

S.Abhay Chakra said: (Aug 10, 2014) The human beings cannot listen to the sound which is below 20Hz. Only some type of animals can hear it like bat's.

Ashwani said: (Jan 15, 2015) Because man cannot hear sound less than 20 Hz.

Tracy said: (Sep 29, 2015) How much HZ is needed for a human being?

 Jacko said: (Jan 24, 2016) @Tracy. 20HZ - 20000HZ(sometimes 16000 HZ).

Elakiya Jyothi said: (Jun 4, 2016) Which frequency makes man's ear dum?

Aaditya Kumar said: (Aug 3, 2016) Name some animals which hear below 20Hz.

Deep said: (Dec 8, 2016) You are right. I agree @Cm Prasad.

Dillon Jordan said: (Jan 6, 2017) Can someone explain it in depth?

Sandeep said: (Mar 11, 2017) Infrasonic : sound frequency less than 20HZ. Ultrasonic : sound frequency greater than 20kHz. Supersonic : it is not the frequency range it denotes the speed of objects which have speed greater then the speed of sound i.e. 330m/s. It produces shock waves.

Tsibuah said: (Jul 30, 2017) Scholars, how then can humans prevent the biological effects that may be induced by supersonic?

Dillon Jordan said: (Aug 24, 2017) Thanks @Sandeep.

 Ogechi said: (Nov 24, 2017) Thanks @Sandeep.

Steph said: (Jan 24, 2018) Thanks for the information.

Kiran said: (Jan 29, 2018) What is the speed of the sound?

Prasad Reddy said: (Apr 7, 2018) Can a snake listen the sound of frequency below 20 HZs sitting on a tree?

Satish said: (Apr 9, 2018) Nice explanation @Sandeep.

Govind said: (May 30, 2018) Infrasonic wave- Below 20hz frequency (Dogs can listen it). Audible sound-. 20 to 20000 Hz Human can listen only of this frequency range sound. Ultrasonic-beyond 20000 Hz (man cannot listen to it but bats can listen to these sounds).

Muzamil said: (Jun 13, 2018) If we produce a sound more than 20mhz, can we feel noise or we will not listen totally?
