Bar magnet is a magnet having two poles north and south at the end of magnet producing constant or uniform magnetic field since the magnetic lines of forces are more at the poles produced by them so magnetic field at the centre of magnet is zero.

If a bar magnet is placed in a uniform magnetic field B, its poles +m and -m experience force mB and mB along and opposite to the direction of magnetic field B, so net force on the bar magnet is zero.

Magnetic force is zero at center of the magnet bar because magnetic force of north pole and south Pole cancel out each other and the center of magnet bar remain neutral (zero).

Magnetic force at the south and north poles is very high. But at centre the magnetic force is too low. That's why magnetic force at centre is zero.

Magnetism is highest at poles of a bar magnet and as we come closer to the center magnetism is reduced. Therefore it is zero at center.

The magnetic force at the end is more in bar magnet and less than in center so the magnet force at the center is zero.

There are two poles of bar magnet had different quantity which are cancelled by each other and remains zero.

Magnetic lines also passes through the centre of bar magnet but there direction is from south to north.

In the bar magnet the poles have more magnetic power.
And in the middle it has less magnetic power.
And in the middle it has less magnetic power.

At the center magnetic lines of force is negligable so at the of magnet magnetic field is zero.
