Because it is the stage from he gets proprieties for jobs if he able to get a job it means he also able to select a right person and he also into adult stage he has utmost knowledge about life.

Because after 18 year we having that much of majority to understand who is the correct person for perfect rights, laws those having the ideas to develop our country in that 5 years.

By recommendation of Tarkunde committee the age of voting right cut down from 21 to 18 by 61th amendment.

It's changed to 18 years from 21 after 61st amendment act of 1988.
