Preamble is considered as the base idea or say it is an introduction of the whole constitution. The first time concept of preamble was came in act of 1919, Pt J.L. Nehru had given the concept of preamble. And all the idea it consist are related to basic structure, it is integral part of const. (Verdict of supreme court in keshwananda Bharti case 1973). The word secular, socialist nd integrity has been added by 42nd constitutional ammendment act of 1976.

The Preamble of our constitution is part of the Constitution but is NOT enforceable by courts. Preamble is NON-Justifiable. This means that courts cannot pass orders against the government in India to implement the ideas in the Preamble. The courts can take recourse to the Preamble in order to explain and clarify other provisions of the constitution. This view was given by the Supreme Court in the Berubari Union Case 1960 and Kesavand Bharti Case.

The Preamble is the most imp page of any constitution, it contains most imp features of the constitution in short. The preamble of India is written by Shri Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. A foreigner can easily understand the characteristics of the Indian Constitution by reading the preamble.

The preamble is the introduction of a book or index or abstract. Basic rules are evaded that causes lots of permutation and combination. Therefore no elected government can dare to change basic structure. Except in those days of emergency.
