The parliament has to function within the limits prescribed by the constitution. In case of violation, the supreme court can oversee the parliament and take appropriate decision and the Indian polity is federal in structure, that is, the powers are divided between the states and the centre. The centre can legislate only on subjects enumerated in the union list and the concurrent list and it cannot legislate on subjects in the state list but with he consent of half of the state legislatures and rajya sabha it can legislate on subjects in the state list but the needs the approval of state legislatures. So, the parliament is not sovereign.

What yuvraj said is correct. As India is democratic. The powers and laws are distributed. So only parliment cannot be considered as soverign.

Sovereignty is the freedom to govern oneself within a territory and to be free from any external control. All INDIANS are free to govern themselves and to make laws. There should be no external interference of any kind in the functioning of the government.
