As minimal coordination is required amongst all the three powers which is the basic functionality of the constitution i.e. For a good Government.

Adjournment motions are taken by the parliament if the date of submitting a task comes near but they have not finished it still. So, they will postpone its date.

The answer is C because adjournment motion is for adjourning the sessions of parliament. It doesn't use for control over executive.

According to Article 75 of COI The Executive is collectively responsible to the Loksabha particularly.

In order to control the executive activities, Indian constitution provides certain tools to the members of the parliament, by using these the house can contain the anti-public activities of the executive and also the tyrannical behaviour of the Executive i.e. the Government.

The tools provided by the COI are Questions, Supplementary Questions, Motions (includes. Substitute motion, substantive motion, Supplementary motion, adjournment motion, censure motion, calling Attention Motion, Non-confidence motion, etc).

These are all very much use full to the members of parliament to control the government. In the above mentioned The Calling Attention Motion is purely an invention of Indian Parliamentary Procedure, no here we find such a motion. It is in force since 1953. And the Zero hour which is the time between the Question hour and the Agenda is also Indian invention in Parliamentary procedures. The Zero Hour is in force since 1962.
