The Founder of All India Muslim League was not a single individual. It was founded by a group of people. It was founded on 30 december, 1906 at Dhaka (now in Bangladesh). It was founded by the followers, admirers and companions of Aligarh Movement.

The Founding meeting was hosted by Nawab Sir Khwaja Salimullah and attended by three thousand delegates, while Ameer Ali, Sir Mian Muhammad Shafi were also the founding fathers who attended this meeting.
