In general we say that AMUKTAMALYADA was written by Sri Krishna Devaraya but in fact the true writer was Mohanangi, the daughter of Sri Krishna Devaraya on the dictation and guidance of her father none other than Sri Krishna Devaraya and finally that Telugu literature work had been given to the Venkateswara temple in Tirupathi in Telugu we say as Amuktamalyada Tirupathi Venkateswara Swamy Alayamki Aamarpimpabadinadhi.

Vijayanagar kingdom was in andhra pradesh state. And the mother tongue is telugu the telugu language have great grammar and for beautiness in poems. And also krishnadevaraya was is very famous as "andhrabojudu" in andhra pradesh state now also.

He is basically related to Kannada. But he was so impressed with the beauty of Telugu language. He also announced that Telugu is the greatest of all the languages in nation.

Vijayanagara empire was built by two brothers Harihara and bukka raya who spoke purely Kannada. And Krishnadevaraya was also know as "Kannada raja rmarman".

Krishnadevaraya wrote the book Amuktamalyada in Telugu, beautifully describing the pangs of separation suffered by Sri Andal for her lover Lord Vishnu.
