Salvation is what you get life of eternal peace and joy after death. It can be achieved only through loving your God and your neighbors. Forgive and even love your enemy. This was said by Jesus.

We believe these principles are TRUE and good for salvation. Because, there's no rival or enmity if we love our enemy. So, we can maintain peace and joy untold.

The trident symbol is called 'Triratna' in Buddhism and represent the three things that Buddhists take refuge in namely:

A) Buddha - The Enlightened or Awakened One.
B) Dharma - The Teachings.
C) Sangam - The Community.

Is Nirvana a part of three jewels of Buddhism?

Though "Nirvana" is not a part of three jewels of Buddhism it is the ultimate "Aim" of Buddhism.

Nirvana simply means annihilation of all the desires. It is to be achieved in life & not after death. We can extrapolate that Nirvana is must for ENLIGHTENMENT.
