Colonel Robert Clive was British colonel who took part in the battle of Plassey in Bengal against Nawab Siraj.

The treaty was signed between Cornwallis and Tippu Sultan in march 19 1792. Cornwallis was father of civil services. He introduced convenient services in India and appointed district collectors.

Treaty of Seringapatam was signed on 19th march 1972, it ended the third anglo-mysore war. Its signatory were Lord Cornwallis on behalf of east India company, representatives of nizam of hyderabad and mahratta empire, and Tipu Sultan, ruler of Mysore.
