At present China is the largest producer of Aluminium in the world.

As per my information, China is the largest producer of alumina (aluminium oxide) but Australia is the largest producer of aluminium.

Producing aluminium from alumina is done through electrolysis process requiring huge amount of energy. Thus aluminium refining plants are located near cheap energy source.

Australia having huge reserve of high quality coal produces cheap energy. It has also the largest deposit of bauxite. Thus logically it leads in aluminium production.

Australia is largest producer of Bauxite.

In 2014 China has been the largest producer of aluminium in the world and Australia stands at no. 7 lesser than India's production.

USA is large amount of product produced type of aluminium.

China has been the largest producer of aluminium and USA's position is 7th followed by India, Arab Emirates and Australia respectively acc.to 2015.
