The largest deposit of iron ore is in Karnataka. And maximum production is in Odisha.

Yes Karnataka has the largest deposits of iron ore and Karnataka is lead in production of iron. One fourth of total production of India.

West Bengal, Orrisa, Jharkhand have most concentration of iron ores that's why major iron and steel industries are located in these states eg: TISCO, RURKELA, BHILAI, BURNPUR etc.

Jharkhand has the largest reserves accounting for about 25 per cent of the total reserves of India. This is followed by Orissa (21%), Karnataka (20%), Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh (18%) and Goa (11%).
The remaining 5 per cent is shared by Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Assam.

Andhra pradesh and karnataka also number of iron ores. Bellary king Gali janardhan reddy arrested due to illegal iron ores in bellary, karnataka.

Obviously jharkhand separated from bihar but still the same group have highest concentration of iron ore.
