RBI is the bank who control all the bank and operate them according to his rules and regulation. All bank take money from RBI that is case reserve ratio so that is why RBI is the apex bank and father of all bank.

RBI all rules and regulation followed the all commercial banks. RBI started on 1st Jan 1935 and nationalised on 1 April 1946.

No doubt RBI is banker's bank and each and every financial function is controlled by RBI. Every other bank is controlled by RBI. It is the bigger bank in India.
