Whenever I will hear this song, I would have thought the national leaders and salute them. So this song gives us the memories of our freedom strugglers.

Vande mataram should have been accepted as national anthem. Jana Gana Mana is for eulogising the british queen the bharat bhagya vidhata at that time.

Actually the whole songs has been adopted as India's National Anthem. But for our convenience we are taking only the first stanza has been taken as India's National Anthem.

"Jana-gana-mana"was first sung on 27th december 1911, long before Indian gained independence, at calcutta session of the Indian National congress.

Our national anthem has five stanzas only one stanza is adopted.
