The national anthem is of 5 stanzas and first one was adopted as our Indian national anthem. Other 4 stanzas are also written by rabindranath tagore.

Actually the whole songs has been adopted as India's National Anthem. But for our convenience we are taking only the first stanza has been taken as India's National Anthem.
