Dada Saheb contributed his entire life to cinema. He was a Theater artist and then he owned a drama company. His men who casted in his dramas wore sarees even in Off-screen for maintaining the female nature which they played as female characters in On-screen.
He directed many feature films, short films and documentary films only at the age of 50+ despite his bad health conditions. His passion and love towards cinema setup a new path for Indian cinema later. His works were credited only after his death.
