In simple words, an ore is a type of rock that contains enough of a valuable mineral or metal that it can be mined and extracted profitably.
1.Monazite (Thorium, Cerium, and Rare Earth Elements Ore):
Use: Primary source of thorium, cerium, and other rare earth elements.
Applications: Used in nuclear reactors, electronics, magnets, and as catalysts in various chemical reactions.
2.Hematite and Magnetite (Iron Ores):
Use: Primary sources of iron.
Applications: Used in the production of steel, which is essential for construction, automotive, and manufacturing industries.
3.Zircon (Zirconium Ore):
Use: Primary source of zirconium.
Applications: Used in nuclear reactors for cladding fuel rods, in ceramics, and in high-temperature applications like furnace linings.
4. Ilmenite and Rutile (Titanium Ores):
Use : Primary sources of titanium.
Applications: Used in aerospace for aircraft and spacecraft, in medical implants, and as a white pigment in paints and coatings.
