It is a type of carbonated beverages-carbonated beverages contain carbon dioxide. We see while drinking soda our tongue gets something different because of carbon dioxide mixed in it.

Yeah as all are saying it must be carbonic acid: Co2+ H2o = H2CO3. So it is carbonic acid.

Carbonic acid is not stable due to hydrogen bonding so readily converted to CO2 + H2O.
