There are two types of constructions of incandescent light bulbs, one entailing a low vacuum and one that is filled with the inert gas. The gas used is either Nitrogen or Argon.

What will happen if you use hydrogen gas? It will turn on or turn off the bulb?

What will happen if hydrogen gas is used in the incandescent bulb? Anyone explain the effect.

Incandescent light bulbs are filled with an inert gas like nitrogen, argon, or krypton - so that the filament doesn't catch fire. Early ones were a vacuum.
