Because water is a compound of O2 and H2 and O2 is having 2 valency and hydrogen is having 1 valency.

The molecular formula of water is H2O. Because the valency of hydrogen is 2 and valency of oxygen is two and if we do it accordin to the science method then we get a molecular formula of water. In short we can tell two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen can give us one molecule of water.

One molecule of water consists of 2 atoms of hydrogen (H2) and 1 atom of oxygen (O). Therefore H2O.

2(-1)+2 =0. The molecule of water arise by two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. While relatively small quantities of water appear to be colorless, water's tint becomes a deeper blue as the thickness of the observed sample increases. The blue hue of water is an intrinsic property and is caused by selective absorption and scattering of white light. Impurities dissolved or suspended in water may give water different colored appearances.

Because it is a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen i.e. hydrogen H + oxygen o = water H2O.
