Badrinath is a Hindu holy town and a nagar panchayat in Chamoli district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is the most important of the four sites in India's Char Dham pilgrimage. The town gets its name from the Holy temple of Badrinath.
This town faced a disastrous flood during 12-20th june 2013. Reports indicate 200+ deaths in nearby villages. Help from Indian Air Force was taken to get the people out and supply them with Food.

At Alakanada's origin, Lake Satopanth is a triangular lake, located at a height of 4402 meters above the sea level and named after the Hindu trinity Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva.Badrinath, one of the holy destinations for Hindus in India is located near to the bank of the Alaknanda River. This place is surrounded by two mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan and Neelkanth peak is located at the back side.

As you said above that disaster happend in kedarnath but badrinath also suffered from that tragedy.
Hence we can say that disaster came in badrinath also.

Badrinath temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu and Kedarnath temple is dedicated to lord Shiva! Both are in Uttarakhand!

@Yogesh clear your facts, Disaster in 2013 came in Kedarnath, not in Badrinath!
