According to me, Chitrakut comes in Madhya Pradesh in Satna districts. Please explain the correct answer.

Chitrakoot is a town in Satna District of Madhya Pradesh. I am a native resident of this place. It is a border town between Madhya pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Being technical, Chitrakoot is in MP. Karbi is a neighbouring place where there is a Railway station which falls in UP. Name of the Karni station is Karbi Dhaam (Chitrakoot) , which creates a doubt in people's mind. People who want to visit Chitrakoot use this station. Being very close to Karbi (10 Km) and headquarter town Satna (MP) is 78 Km from chitrakoot, people mistake it as in UP.
