It's A due to the fact that hydrogen is known to be both the lightest gas and element of the periodic table, despite the temperature and pressure it undergoes.

Speed of molecules in gases is dirctly proportional to tempurature n inversely to its mass as per kinetic theroy and only A satisfies the above condition.

Gas molecules speed = temperature/molecular wt.
Hydrogen gas has the highest value of that ratio.
So hydrogen gas has high-speed compared to other gasses.
Hydrogen gas has the highest value of that ratio.
So hydrogen gas has high-speed compared to other gasses.

Step 1: Convert 'c to kelvin
Step 2:use formula speed= √(RT/M).
Keeping R constant in each case. By calculating, option 1 is correct.

Speed of molecules is directly proportional to the temperature.
So when we have increase the temperature of molecules speed also increased.
So when we have increase the temperature of molecules speed also increased.

The speed of the gaseous molecules is inversely proportionally to their molecular mass. In this case hydrogen satisfy this condition.

N2 is the correct ans.. coz speed of of gas is directly proportional to temperature..
but i am confused about mass of nitrigen
but i am confused about mass of nitrigen

You use the root mean square velocity because the temperature is given and don't blindly consider only the mass of the element.

Option C is not an answer.
N2 (dinitrogen) is very stable with triple bonding.
Hence, given option a is the correct answer.

Here h2 is the lightest element and it is also directly proportional to the temperature that's why the option is correct.
