When we eat protein containing food (C, H, N, O) body breaks it into simpler units called Amino acids. Now nucleus of cell make it again into complex molecules (proteins) for various functions. Starch, sugar, fatty acid just contain C, H, O.

Proteins will break down into amino acids two types essential and non essential amino acid.
Essential amino acids are histidine, isoleucine, leucine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine, lysine.
Non essential amino acids arginine, glutamine, glycine, proline, serine, tyrosine.
