Flavoxathin is a natural xanthophyll pigment with a golden-yellow color found in small quantities in a variety of plants.

Melanin helps us to protect from harmful rays. You will see people around equator are dark as rays are more there but in areas around poles have light sunlight and skin tone is light because of melanin.
