Milkha Singh is known as flying sikh of India. He broke the Olympic record for the 400 meters event while finishing fourth in the 1960 Rome Olympic Games. Milkha Singh defeated the Fastest Pakistani runner Abdul Khaliq who had won a 100m Gold Medal at Tokyo Asian Games 1958 in the year 1962, and the Pak President Ayub Khan named him 'The Flying Sikh', a name that has became immortal forever in the history of Indian Athletics.
