Butter is an unsaturated compound or an olefin in contrast to wax which is a saturated compound. So butter will show more reactivity for reactants. As such, they show different chemical nature.

-> Sugar and Paper are both Carbohydrates.
-> Paraffin wax is a white to colourless soft solid derived from petroleum coal and is mixture of hydrocarbon molecules whereas Butter is lipid/fat.
-> Chalk and Marble are CaCO3.
-> Charcoal and Diamonds are allotropes of Carbon.

All other have similar composition except the answer pair.
