Whenever there is infection in our body, our immune system get activated and WBC (white blood cells) which are soldiers in our body start fighting against the bacteria.
But when there are powerful bacteria in our body, our WBC's are incapable of fighting with them and can't destroy them.
At that time antibiotics are important and they stop the growth of bacteria. At present with the help of antibiotics millions of people survive.

Hai inhibit means prevent the growth of bacteria antibiotics are not used to stimulate WBC because whenever a foreign substance automatically our immune system send information to bone marrow to release more WBC & neutrophils reaches to infected area & stimulate immune reaction but sometimes there is a need for antibiotics to kill that foreign agent.

In many ways antibiotics are work. In the first step, antibiotic attack on the bacterial cell wall, 2nd is attack bacterial cell membrane, 3rd inhibit the bacterial cell DNA, 4th inhibit the replication, 5th Inhibit cell metabolism, inhibit the transcription.

Antibiotics are used to kill the microorganisms like bacteria, fungi and viruses. Antibiotics is a complex organic compound prepared from one microorganism and used to inhibit the growth of other microorganisms. Example penicillin.
