Please tell me the meaning of marrow.

Marrow means?

Marrow: A soft fatty substance in the cavities of bones, in which blood cells are produced (often taken as typifying strength and vitality)

Bone marrow (Latin: medulla ossium) is the flexible tissue found in the interior of bones. In humans, bone marrow in large bones produces new blood cells. On average, bone marrow constitutes 4% of the total body mass of humans; in adults weighing 65 kg (143 lbs), bone marrow accounts for approximately 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs). The hematopoietic(stem cells) compartment of bone marrow produces approximately 500 billion blood cells per day, which use the bone marrow vasculature as a conduit to the body's systemic circulation.Bone marrow is also a key component of the lymphatic system, producing the lymphocytes that support the body's immune system.

There are lots of thing happening inside, they don't even inform us except newton's 4th law of motion.

Red blood cells or erythrocytes are mainly used to deliver oxygen (O2) to the blood tissues through the blood flow with the help of circulatory system. Approximately. 2.5 million new rbc's are produced/second in an adult human body. These cells are developed by bone marrow which is the largest bone used in developing or producing the cells. All types of blood cells are derived from primitive cells (stem cells) that are pluripotent (they have the potential to develop into all types of blood cells).
