Nobel prize was given in five domains till 1969. On memory and based on the will of Alfred Nobel (who invented Dynamite), the Nobel prize is given to the people who contribute extensively in the fields of Literature, Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, and Peace.
Later on,1968, The Sveriges Riksbank Prize was decided to be given as the Nobel Prize in the field of Economics. So, presently Nobel Prize is given in six wide domains.

The Nobel Prizes are annual international awards bestowed by Scandinavian committees in recognition of cultural and scientific advances. The will of the Swedish chemist Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite, established the prizes in 1895. The prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, and Peace were first awarded in 1901.

On 27 November 1895, Alfred Nobel signed his last will and testament, giving the largest share of his fortune to a series of prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and Peace " the Nobel Prizes. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank established The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.

Nobel prize is given in the memory of Alfred Nobel a great scientist. Every year nobel prize given on 10 December.
First time nobel prize given in year 1901 but in Economics first time given in 1961. First nobel prize winner in India is Rabindra Nath Taigore for literature 1913.

Nobel is awarded in every field of science and fiction, except drama and art and the only one exception is Mathematics. Nobel prize is not considered for mathematics because mathematics is only an applied subjects which is used for deduction in other core subjects.

One of the reason for not including maths in noble category is that alfred noble didn't care much for mathematics, and that it was not considered a practical science from which humanity could benefit (a chief purpose for creating the Nobel Foundation).
