The full Form of UN is United Nations. The purpose for UN was to maintain international peace and security. To encourage cooperation in international economy, social, culture, and human rights problems. As well as the respect for human rights and freedoms which all developed friendly relationships with other nations. So as a result Eritrea was one of the UN countries.

Eritrea is located in the continent of Africa. It gained independence from Ethiopia in 1993 and became the 182nd member state of the United Nations in that same year. It is situated in Africa, bordered by Sudan to the west, Ethiopia to the south, and Djibouti to the southeast. Its northeastern coastline lies along the Red Sea.
