Eritrea is in the HORN OF AFRICA, sharing borders with Ethiopia in the South, Sudan in the West, Djibouti in the South East, and Northeastern and eastern parts with a coastline of the Red Sea.

History of Liberation - During the colonization period, Italians created the colony of Eritrea in the 19th century. After WW II, it was federated to Ethiopia in 1952 and made a province in Ethiopia in 1962. After 3 decades, Eritrea declared its Independence in 1993 with its capital as ASMARA.
