There are three types of UV rays. Namely UVA, UVB and UVC.

Ozone layer protects us from harmful ULTRAVIOLET radiations. But due to the increase of pollutions the Ozone layer is depleted, the concentration of Carbon-dioxide increases and this causes dizziness in body and sometimes leads to death of the person.

The depletion of ozone layer leads to skin cancer ect.

Sun contains a very dangerous rays called UV rays and the ozone layer which is present in the earth's atmosphere and it protects the earth from the UV rays and convert it into Infrared rays which is better than the UV rays and it is also very much necessary for every creature.

International Day for the preservation of Ozone layer is September 16.

Ozone layer is very much important for earth, because it protect us from harmful ultraviolet rays, coming from sun which create skin diseases, and this ozone layer is get destroyed slowly due to pollution in earth.

I know that when standing in morning sun _rays the uv rays in sunlight will ctonvert the oil in skin to vitamin_D. Without the entry of uv rays how is it possible (u say that ozone prevents uv rays).
