A 0.6-kg brick is thrown into a 25-kg wagon which is initially at rest. If, upon entering, the brick has a velocity of 10 m/s as shown, determine the final velocity of the wagon.

vwagon = 0.203 m/s
vwagon = 0.208 m/s
vwagon = 0.240 m/s

Change in momentum = (M+m)v - mu = 0
m= 0.6 M = 25 u(horizontal component )= 10 cos 30.
(M+m)v = mu.
(25+0.6)v = 0.6 * 10 cos 30.
v = 0.6* 10 cos 30/25.6.
v = 0.20297 (approx = 0.203).
