Yes I agree carbon is a semiconductor, because it is a IV-group element. .in which 4 valance electrons are present. BUT all the type of carbon are not semiconductors.

It will be on all three(conductor, insulator, semiconductor) forms.

NOTE:
# "DIMOND" is a carbon component which is "INSULATOR"
# "GRAFITE" is a carbon composition which is "CONDUCTOR"
# "POWDERED CARBON" is a carbon composition which is "SEMICONDUCTOR".

Yes carbon is a semiconductor. But it is not preferable because its high energy gap between valance band and conduction band is i.e. 5ev.

Agree carbon is found in all shapes like conductors, insulators and semiconductors.
