Pressure is nothing but potential, so pressure moves electrons. It is called voltage.

When we apply voltage in a circuit it forced the current to flow. So it is worked in the circuit as pressure.

Work done on charge to move from one point to other is voltage (potential) which exerts pressure on electrons.

Just imagine water flowing in a pipe, pressure is voltage and volume is current.
