Why is the direction of current flow equal to opposite direction of electron flow?

Basically the current is the rate of flow of charges that is coulombs/time and that rate of flow is the movement. So, the rate of flow (movement) of negative charges viz. Electrons is called the current.

Conductor means the electrons remain at stationary position if the electrons flows flows from one place to other is called current.

Current starts to flow only because of the movement of electrons.

Continuous "flow" of electrons in a conductor, in a particular direction, is called as electric current. So one thing observe here "flow" means its a movement is it. Hence current is movement of electrons.

Resistance - opposes the flow of electrons.
voltage - Potential difference between two ends.

What is meant by repulsion of electrons?
