Gm means transconductance and rs is source voltage.
Here for dc analysis we have short ckted the vdd suply so drain is grounded and automatically it is than common betn source and gate.

Gm and Rs is the voltage and source resistance.
Output Voltage is followed by input voltage so called source follower.
