Is maximum current gain the same as saturation? Please explain me.

Nice explanation @Shweta!

In case of faithful amplification Q point lies in the middle of the dc load, it shifts up and down in case of unfaithful amplification. So it is not true that Q point always lies middle of dc load line.

The 3 points of DC load line sequence is:

Top -- Saturation.

Middle -- Q point.

Third -- Cutoff.

Please if anyone finds me incorrect. Do correct me.

As the forward bias in a semiconductor P-N junction increases, the current through the junction also increases, up to a certain point. When the bias is increased beyond that point (called the saturation point) , no further increase in the current occurs.
