I know that it occurs when the magnetic losses equal the copper losses. How does that relate to D?

The maximum power transfer theorem states that when equalent source resistance is equal to load resistance the maximum power is being transfer.

The maximum power transfer theorem states that when equivalent source resistance is equal to load resistance the maximum power is being transfer.

It occurs when the magnetic losses equal the copper losses.

The maximum power transfer theorem state that when internal resistance of circuit is equal to load resistance of the circuit.

Ri = Rl.

According to MAX POWER TRANSFER THEOREM max power to be transfered only when sourse resistance = load resistance

When the source resistance (RS) is equal to load resistance (RL) then the max power transfer from source to load.

When the internal resistance is equal to the load resistance then the maximum power will generate according to maximum power transfer theorem.

Answer is D. When source resistance is equal to load resistance. Proof refer Maximum power transfer theorem in Electrical Circuits.

Yes, correct according to max. Transfer theorem, source resistence should be equal to load resistor.

We know that transformer is used to transfer power from one circuit to another and also for impedance matching, it happens when "source resistance is equal to load resistance".
