The SCR acts like a very high-resistance rectifier in both forward and reverse directions without requiring a gate signal.

The answer is B why means their will be an low resistance in the forward bias and high resistance in the reverse bias.

Because the SCR can only be turned on by surpassing the forward breakover voltage the ohmmeter cannot supply enough voltage to turn it on this it would have a high resistance in both directions indicating that it is good and working properly.
