All resistors are in series ,it means total value of resistor will be 500 ohm. as we knew that ,
V=I.Req
after putting the given values in
above formula,we get
12=I.500
I=500/12 A
I=24 mA
this is the required answer of the given question.

I think the answer is 41.67 because 500/12 is equal to 41.67.
