Here 9v is connected to a circuit in the positive terminal, whereas 12v also connected to this in the positive terminal.

Current will always flows in -ve to positive direction, here the flow of current of the sources will be in ooposite direction. So it is series opposing. And the source voltages should be get minused.

The one who pushes with more force or in other words one who have more engery than other.

The resultant motion of two persons(current) will be in higher force direction.
