The N type semiconductor was made by adding pentavelent impurities also called donor impurities. Donor means it gives electron to other so it must have electrons they don't have holes.

In n-type, majority carrier is electron and in p-type, majority carrier holes. Si that n-type semiconductor material is doped by adding only electrons. Not with holes.

In n-type semiconductor the major carriers are electrons. To increase the conductivity it is doped with the material with electrons.
