P-n junction where p stands for positive and n for negative.

This is so because in the n type, the overall number of covalent bonds which can be formed is for which means another added electron can not form a bond which will be a free electron which will increase the number of electrons causing it to be a negative.

In N-type material pentavalent dopant is added which means more amount of electron so electrons are majority carriers.

n for negative and p for positive and electron has negative charge that's why electrons are the majority carrier.

n defines for electron which is negative charge. So "n" is a majority carriers.

Because in n type material, there is a pentavalent impurity is added. So there is excess of free electrons.
