DRAM- for storing 1 bit, it uses 1 transistor and 1 capacitor(involves charging and discharging which corresponds to 0 and 1 state, hence refresh is required periodically-"dynamic" and Volatile)

SRAM- uses 6 MOSFETs for storing a bit.

Flash memory- is a MOSFET with 2 gates- control gate and floating gate.
