For series RLC circuit, Q is inversely proportional to R.
Quality Factor (Q) = 1/ (R * √(L/C)).
For Parallel RLC circuit, Q is directly proportional to R.
Quality Factor (Q) = R * √(C/L).
Quality Factor (Q) = 1/ (R * √(L/C)).
For Parallel RLC circuit, Q is directly proportional to R.
Quality Factor (Q) = R * √(C/L).

Q =1 /R(L/C)^2.
From the above formula Q is inversely proportional to R.
From the above formula Q is inversely proportional to R.

Question is not mentioned parallel we have to considered series first.

Exactly, how do you know its a series or a parallel circuit they are talking about.

In my opinion this case only implies on series RLC circuit, which is not mentioned here.
For parallel RLC circuit Quality factor (Q=w0RC) is directly proportional to are. So this question can also be true, because series or parallel case is not mentioned here.

Q=Lw/R where w=2*3.14*f.
Here Q is inversely proportional to R(Resistance).
Here Q is inversely proportional to R(Resistance).

Q(quality factor) = WL/R ==> Q inversely proportional to are ___hence the answer.

The formula for Q factor is 1/2*3. 14*f*RC.
So resistance is inversely proportional to Q.
So resistance is inversely proportional to Q.
