If frequency increases then Xc will decreases i.e., Capacitor forms short path then there is no impedance (because Short is parallel to resistor) , hence total current increase.

Current increase because Xc = (1\2πfc), so if freq increases reactance decreases, and reactance is inversely proportional to current, like ohms law w.r,t current and resistance.
