Consider a tree in which branches comes from a main stem they are parallel to each other.

The answer can not be voltage divider because as the name suggests it divides voltages and being in parallel means having same voltage. And the other two options obviously are wrong so the correct answer is branch.

Meaning for BRANCH is the single element or component in the electrical circuit.
In a question they gave, COMPONENTS it becomes BRANCHES in the circuit.
