Ya its correct according to ohms law,
V = IR.
To find I,
Let I = V/R.
12/4 = 3A.
V = IR.
To find I,
Let I = V/R.
12/4 = 3A.

Total effective resistance = 8*8/8+8 = 4 ohm,
V=12 volt
So I = 12/4 = 3 Amp.
V=12 volt
So I = 12/4 = 3 Amp.

R = 4 I.
I = V/R.
I =12/4 = 3 A.
I = V/R.
I =12/4 = 3 A.
